Senior Pastor: Chuck Wooley

The Bridge began the first Sunday in March 1973 with about 12 people in attendance under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Wooley. The church was called at that time Christian Faith Center and affiliated with the Calvary Chapel movement in 1975. Pastor Chuck has remained the church’s pastor for the last 35 years. He also served as Chaplain for Riverside County in the Juvenile Justice system for many years overseeing all of the religious activity and counseling in Juvenile Hall. In addition he was a staff instructor at Calvary Chapel Bible College both at the Twin Peaks and Murrieta campuses. Pastor Chuck is currently teaching the Word of God on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

Women's Ministry: Wanda Wooley

As the wife of Pastor Chuck, Wanda directs our ever expanding Ladies Ministries, which includes weekly Bible Studies, periodic brunches and the yearly Ladies Retreat in Murrieta Hot Springs. Her love, compassion and dedication for our ladies, which is demonstrated by her constant availability to all, have truly been a blessing to the entire church family. She and Pastor Chuck have been married for 47 years and have three beautiful daughters, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

 
Assistant Pastor: Chris McPike

Pastor Chris and his family started attending The Bridge in 1995. After serving faithfully as a volunteer in a variety of ministries it became obvious that the Lord had called him to be part of the pastoral staff. It wasn’t long until his servant’s mentality and loving spirit made him an indispensible assistant to Pastor Chuck. He is supported by his wife Chanda and three awesome kids. He works very closely with the entire staff overseeing the daily ministry at The Bridge. His favorite verse is Psalm 50:15 which says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

Assistant Pastor: Chuck Carlson

Pastor Chuck Carlson (affectionately called “the other Pastor Chuck”) served as administrative manager and assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Simi Valley from 1997 - 2002. In the summer of 2002 God called him to come on board here at The Bridge as an Assistant Pastor. He oversees our Pastoral Care ministry which includes Biblical Guidance for those who have questions or need direction in their lives. Pastor Chuck is also the first one at the bedside of any who call with a need whether it be in the hospital, convalescent facility or a home. He is assisted in this ministry by his wife of over 50 years, Bobbie. Their love and compassion for others has truly endeared them to the hearts of the entire Bridge family.

 
Administration & Missions: Debbie Baker

Debbie has been with The Bridge for over 17 years, serving in a various capacities, but continuing to assist Pastor Chuck Wooley in administrative functions. Her primary role is currently our Missions Director. She has been involved with short term trips to Uganda, Mexico, Costa Rica, and numerous trips to Russia. Additionally she has organized teams for relief teams to work at New York's Ground Zero, the tsunami devastation in Thailand, and the victims of hurrican Katrina in Mississippi.

Debbie has been married to Gary Baker, a local real estate developer, for nearly 20 years. She has one daughter, Audra who is currently attending college in the Los Angeles area; and one step-daughter, Janine who is married to David Sabin and one grandson, Cade.

 
Accounting and Bookkeeping: Vicky Jones

Vicky came on staff at the Bridge in 2003 as an office assistant and took over the responsibilities of accounting when that position became available. She is also our team utility player who simply jumps in wherever and whenever there is a need. Vicky lives the life of a true servant of God and is an example to the entire staff. If you want something done just ask Vicky. She married Gary Jones in 1992 at The Bridge and they have two lovely children.

Junior High and Website: Phil Gagnon

Phil joined the staff in 2004 after graduating from Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta Hot Springs. He currently is the pastor of our Junior High School Ministry. Under his leadership this ministry has grown into one of our most important outreaches. Phil is also our Web Master as he designed and maintains the church web site. In addition this busy young man oversees our multi media department. Phil met his wife Maribel here at The Bridge and she has become his true help mate in ministry.

Office Secretary and Receptionist: Jenn Amberg

Jenn joined the staff in 2004 and she is the VOICE you will talk to when you call the church office. She enjoys assisting people and always makes certain that everyone’s needs are met when they call or stop by the office. She also is the creator of most of the flyers and handouts as well as the weekly bulletin as our staff graphics director. Jenn also ably assists our AWANA children’s ministry.

Tape Ministry: Mavi Cameron:

Mavi is joined out staff in 2005 after serving as a volunteer for several years. She directs our CD ministry. In addition she is a “utility player” who works in all the various departments in our office. She also assists in our “cares” ministry in hospitals and convalescent homes. She is an indispensable addition to our team. Mavi has four grown children, two boys and two girls.

Facilities Director: Fred Molo

Fred oversees the entire church facility which includes directing custodial, housekeeping, grounds keeping, maintenance and security staff. He coordinates with other staff members to ensure proper set-up and tear down of classrooms and other facilities. He ensures that parking lots are clean and well-maintained, that air conditioning, heating, and security systems are in good repair. In addition Fred always finds ways to meet the needs of whoever the Lord may send his way.

Children's Ministry: Katie Dale

Meet our children’s ministry director, Katie! Katie has been overseeing all aspects of The Bridge Kidz ministry. You can find her jumping up and down with the kids in worship or just running around looking busy. Before joining our staff, she was an elementary school teacher, where in her six years in that role she taught second, third and fourth grade. Her goal is to help guide each child to a relationship with Jesus.

Worship Ministry: Lance Parra

If you come to a Sunday morning or Wednesday night service chances are you will see Lance leading worship. He is a gifted musician and has a heart to worship the Lord. Lance is living proof that God is faithful.  He was thrown out of a car window in an accident and was supposed to have his right arm amputated at age 17.  Now he has near full use of his arm and can play guitar with the best! Lance and his wife Julie have three daughters - Ryan, Danielle and Caroline.
